Throughout the past two years, many weddings were rescheduled However many weddings have took place with guest lists of under 25 (some as small as 4 or 5). These smaller weddings of around 25 guests have proved to be such an unexpectedly meaningful and personal experience. They almost feel bigger than 25 guests because they offer such an intimate and relaxed and fun experience.

Once tourist areas were allowed to open, in June of 2020, two very beautiful weddings went ahead in Lafcadio Hearne Gardens - known locally in Tramore as the Japanese Gardens. With guests lists of under 10, I had the honour of officiating at both, and it was a true delight to be part of such a joyful experience at that time. Weddings are now offering larger guest lists but these two wee weddings with under 10 people present touched all our hearts. The Waterford News and Star wrote a piece here.
